This opera, composed by Gaetano Donizetti, tells the melodramatic tale of a love triangle between Adina, Nemorino, and General Belcore. This version is set on an alien planet in the distant future. Character design was at the forefront of this project, aliens being a nearly unlimited design prompt. While soft tones and rounded silhouettes reveal Adina to be the Innamorata in this show, sharp, mirrored pieces reflect Belcore's vanity and severity. His opponent, Nemorino has a much softer and droopier shape, as he and his heart melts for Adina. This show is unrealized, designed in April of 2024.
